We learned about the chemistry of making ice cream
Any product created by an engineer to solve a problem
Asks why something occurs and tries to answer that question through observations and experiments
We did this by making the ice cream using our mixing method
Determine a good method for the consistency (thickness) of the ice cream
Design solutions (technologies) to problems using scientific knowledge.
We did this by sharing our mixing method with the class and how it worked
We discussed in our groups a method of mixing the solution of milk, cream, sugar, etc. to get a good consistency
We did this by eating the ice cream AND examined the consistency of the ice cream using our spoon and feeling the texture of the ice cream in the baggie
