Farewell to Flash, a childhood friend of Educaplay
December 31, 2020 will mark the definitive death of Flash, an event that will not have any impact on the Educaplay platform but that is emotional for us since it was a fellow friend for our activities since we were born until 7 years ago.
Since 2013 Flash is no longer necessary to use Educaplay. We had long ago decided to replace this technology with HTML5 given our aim to constantly improve, anticipate the future and be at the forefront of the sector. After living together for some time, since 2017 it is no longer possible to use Flash to play our activities.
As of January 1, 2021, Adobe Flash Player will not be downloadable and the associated technology will be blocked in the few sites where it is still allowed. It will definitely cease to be updated and therefore will be a security threat.
Although all of this does not affect Educaplay, if you have not done so yet we recommend that you remove from your computer and from your pages any component related to Flash.
Exciting future
Some nostalgia doesn’t hurt and it’s good to take a look back from time to time to know where we come from, but at Educaplay our thing is to look ahead with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm for the future of our platform, our users’, that of education in general and that of distance education in particular.
Christmas is just around the corner, and also a new year that perhaps we long for more strongly than ever. At Educaplay we wish you and your loved ones enjoy these days to the fullest to face 2021 and its new courses and terms with more energy and enthusiasm than ever before.
We are working hard to soon give Educaplayers a present consisting of new improvements on the platform that we can’t wait to announce. Meanwhile, if you want to tell us anything, we are all ears and willing to help you. You can reach us through our help center, at info@educaplay.com or through our social networks.
Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year, Educaplayers!
