The Inner Mindscape
The Inner Mindscape:Ludic Object and Learning Mind. The ‘Ludic Object’. Differentiated Learning anchors itself in different modes of perceiving the ludic object. Rejecting the notion that there is a single, unvarying mode of apprehension which triggers student responses to a problem, (in this case mentally construing some prose presented to both eye and ear) Differentiated Learning aims to discover optimum methods of discreetly and subliminally inculcating a readiness to ‘inhale’; and thus remember and ‘fix’ in the students’ minds new linguistic data – always presented in a meaningful and illuminated context; and repeated as often as necessary in ‘lucid’ and ‘non-invasive’ learning set-ups.
