Be very observant so every little detail is noticed
The internal auditor is being hired by the company, to evaluate periodically the areas or departments of the organization
Could be internal or external
Watch that the safety rules are being properly followed
Is the professional that oversees that the register books match the activity that is being performed, and that verifies that all the actions and procedures have been properly registered and justified
Examine the products acquired by the company and register the development of suppliers
The external auditor is being hired by a third party, to verify that the information that they are reporting is real and reflects the current situation of the company
Be objective – prejudices have no place in audits
Register the control activities performed to keep evidence of the results and be able to create quality reports
