Widely available throughout Australia
Suitable for families with children who cannot be care for by other childcare services
Offer sporting and exercise programs
Also can be referred to as centre-based care
Suit families who do not need childcare on a regular basis
Similar to Family Day care
Families who use me are eligible for Child care benefit and the Child care rebate
Provide flexible care hours (all day care, part-time, casual, overnight before and after school)
Operate between the hours of 7:30 – 6pm
Deliver flexible home-based education and care
