Amazon was the first company to deliver a product via drone.

Present drones are not able to deliver all of Amazon's products because their range, load capacity, and speed are too low.

Another problem which impedes current product delivery by drone is the lack of landing spots in rural areas as well as the danger of drone-stealing.

The only countries which currently allow unrestricted product delivery by drone are China, New Zealand, and the UK.

To solve the technical and legal challenges of drone delivery, Amazon has developed drones with parachutes and docking stations for drone recharge.

Amazon has also filed a patent for flying warehouses which resemble zeppelins. They provide ample product storage and permit the drones to park.
