The head of the Petrograd soviet and commanded the Red Army during the Civil War
The last member of the Romanov dynasty. He reigned from 1894 to 1917. He abdicated on his brother Grand Duke Michael. He was assasssinated along all his family members by the Bolsheviks.
Led the provisional government
He was exiled in Switzerland, went to Russia thanks to Germany help and organised a coup against the provisional government.
