Patient I'm not doing too good, I am having some pain Nurse when did the pain begin Patient I have had the pain for about a week, but not all the time, it's off and on Nurse where does it hurt, how long has the pain been going on, and how long does it last? Patient the pain is in my right upper stomach, sometimes in my back, sometimes I feel nauseated and throw up. i noticed the pain a week ago, it's off and on, last a few hours. Nurse describe your pain on a scale 1-10 and tell me what you think causes the pain or make it worse? Patient the pain is between a 5-9. I notice the pain more after I eat large heavy meals, usually something fried. Nurse Is there anything that make the pain better, what have you done to relieve the pain? Patient sometimes I use a heating pad, drink warm tea, or take a Tylenol. nothing seems to help much.
