-Young children may not have symptoms but can still spread the disease to others who will become very sick -Fever, loss of appetite, stomach pain, vomiting -Yellow skin and eyes -Death or liver failure is rare but more probable in older-aged people
-Virus can have no symptoms, flu-like symptoms, or serious symptoms -Best known for paralysis -Weakness or paralysis of arms, legs, or both. -Death
