The writer reads his or her work aloud, uses a Grammar checker, spell checks, and insures that each sentence is clear and specific. The writer reviews the essay's organization, order, clarity, and focus. The writer will have peer review and instructor feedback before beginning this step. The writer explores ideas, does some background reading, considers his or her interests, and reads the assignment requirements.
