The course aims to develop the skills and capabilities of the studens to know and analyze the basic concepts related with environmental studies, the legal environmental regulations applicable to a project, the technical and environmental aspects that must been included in this type of studies.

The course is part of the specific discipline training of the Environmental Engineering and Environmental Sanitation Technology programs, and is located within the elective modules. The course is aimed towards the understanding of the concepts and methodologies to evaluate the environmental assess of a project, work or activity and formulate environmental management measures to prevent, mitigate, corrected and offset the generated environmental impacts.
