In UK , they celebrate Christmas on 25th of December . They call this day " Christmas Day " . People often is , and because this festivity brings beautiful things people decorate their houses with Christmas lights , Christmas trees , wreaths , and they sing Christmas carols .
On 24th of December , Christmas Eve , children put their stockings at the end of their beds at night . When all the boys and girls are sleeping , Father Christmas brings presents to their houses .
There are people who are very friendly in Christmas as it is , usually , good epoch to help others who feel , or even in these moments because they miss the family whereas we can find people who hate Christmas , who are all the time and they hate all the celebrations related to this festivity .
An important part of Christmas Day is the Christmas dinner . They eat turkey , pigs in blankets , roast potatoes , stuffing , with gravy and cranberry sauce .
For desert they eat traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce . Or mince pies with cream . Or trifle !

People decorate their dinner tables with crackers . Christmas Crackers are made of cardboard , two people have to pull the paper and the winner takes the small gift inside and a crown . Tom Smith , the owner of a candy store , established this tradition in London in 1847 .
