Oh, I can hear the trumpet as I dress in dazzling white; I'm flicking, I'm pivoting, for a captivating sight

The bedroom in the classroom begin to disappear into crowds of people who stand up and cheer

I love the classroom where I can set free the dramatic tango inside of me

I still hear the clapping and the children dance along; If it wasn't for the dance the silence wouldn't have gone

'It takes two to tango.' So, it takes both teacher and students to create a successful teaching and learning environment. It is dramatic because the teacher needs to bring in all the emotions to the lesson in order to set the right learning mood of the students.

A bedroom is a place where people sleep. In the classroom, a bedroom refers to situation where the students are passive, bored and lazy to join the lesson. So, when the students stand up and cheer, that means the students are engaged, interested, energised and picking up the lesson. They are no longer passive, bored or lazy.

The clapping symbolises the students’ engagement in the lesson because when we clap, we are being attentive enough of what is happening around us. When the students dance along, they enjoy the lesson and take part in the activity. If the teacher did not incorporate all the gestures and body movement that are captivating, the students would have just sit on their chair and dream about something else.

The trumpet represents excitement and energy and the dazzling white symbolises how the teacher dresses to catch the students’ attention. Dazzling White has a positive connotation and is associated with light and successful beginning of something (In this context, a successful beginning of the lesson). The teacher make a sudden movement or gesture to attract students’ attention. When a person pivots, the person bears at least some weight on one or both legs and spins to move their bottom from one surface to another. This explains that a teacher will always make efforts no matter what it may take as long as the students enjoy and engage in the lesson. The captivating sight refers to the students condition of being attentive towards the teacher in front.
