Leo follows in his brothers footsteps and goes on the hunt for the giant. He encounters animals that he helps and with the help of a wolf he finally arrives at the house of the giant. 7 He takes the heart back to the giant and uses it to bargain* for the lives of his brothers. * to bargain = onderhandelen The giant tells Leo where he has hidden his heart. Leo on his part takes care of the places where the giants, or so he says, has hidden his heart. The question raises: will the giant become a friendly giant? The king and his three sons are introduced. We meet Leo who is the youngest brother, he sees the good in people and meets the heartless giant for the first time. Part of the exposition. Rising action Third time is a charm. Leo sets out on a quest for the search of the giant's heart. Will he be able to find it? But once his brothers are brought back to life, one of them took the heart and breaks it. The giant dies and over the years his remains turn into a hill.
