Have you ever wondered where those cute , cuddly giant pandas you see in zoos come from ? Well , last year on a trip to China I found out . I visited the Woolong Natural Nature Reserve . It was an experience .

Wolong is a for giant pandas and other species . There , the pandas are and live in their own natural . Some of the pandas , especially the mothers and their babies , live in panda , where scientists study them . Others are free to roam the , where you can see them playing , relaxing and on their favourite food , bamboo .

? Woo Long ? actually means ? sleeping dragon ? and comes from a legend about a dragon that was by the beauty of the valley and fell there , never to wake up again . A long dragon wall has been there as a reminder of the legend . Like the dragon , I found the landscape absolutely . The valleys with rivers and surrounded by forest - covered mountains make the reserve a truly remarkable place .
