Explanation

In English, there are different verb forms that communicate future depending on the certainty of that future.

You can recognize this tense by the use of -s in the verbs for 3rd person and the auxiliaries do/does in questions and negatives.

"Present simple" is only the name of the tense, but in the level of meaning, it can communicate different things not only present time.

We use "present simple" for future meanings when we refer to actions that will happen in the future at a specific time dictated by a schedule/timetable.

A fixed aspect of the tense is the name and the grammatical form. A dynamic aspect is the message that it communicates depending on the context.
