NBP doesn’t seem to provide a favorable context for the cultural and language minorities. Foreing language becomes a tool that serves economic, practical, industrial and military purpose. The purpose is to make Colombian citizens bilingual in Spanish and English It imposed their view and exclude local knowledge in Colombian education. Speaking English allows to better understand the other human being, including the differences and breaking the language barriers. It’s seen when a knowledge is innovated to be competent and multilingual individual. Include and exclude particular groups un society, alternative ways of reasoning and perceiving a foreign and local language.
