It’s seen when a knowledge is innovated to be competent and multilingual individual. Speaking English allows to better understand the other human being, including the differences and breaking the language barriers. Foreing language becomes a tool that serves economic, practical, industrial and military purpose. It imposed their view and exclude local knowledge in Colombian education. NBP doesn’t seem to provide a favorable context for the cultural and language minorities. The purpose is to make Colombian citizens bilingual in Spanish and English
