They produce saliva and release it into the mouth. 2 Liver 3 Gallbladder. 4 The liver is the largest gland in the human body. It produces bile, which goes on to be stored in the gallbladder. When food rich in fat enters the duodenum, the gallbladder releases bile to aid the digestion of these molecules. 5 Stomach 6 Pancreas 7 Small intestine 8 Intestinal glands are located on the inner wall of the small intestine. 9 Gastric glands are located on the inner wall of the stomach.
