Our proposal to the issue of childhood by a series of education programs in local elementary schools . Through workshops , cooking , and educational materials , we seek to children and their families with the knowledge and skills needed to make healthier food choices and lead active lifestyles . By partnering with local organizations and leveraging , we aim to reach a wide audience and create a lasting impact on the health and well - being of our youth . In addition to educational programs , our proposal includes initiatives to improve access to in underserved communities . This includes establishing to provide for school meals , collaborating with local to offer affordable fruits and vegetables , and advocating for policies that support . By addressing both education and access , we believe our proposal offers a to combatting childhood obesity and promoting and in our community .
