Pour Emile Durkheim , le conflit social est une pour la cohésion sociale . , la division du travail social devrait produire de la . Mais , un de division du travail peut conduire , au contraire , à un d'intégration et de régulation . Les différentes classes sociales s'affrontent car elles ne savent plus quelle est leur place ou parce que les relations entre patrons et salariés deviennent inexistantes , tout particulièrement dans les grandes entreprises .
Cette analyse a été prolongée par les fonctionnalistes américains comme Talcott Parsons ( 1902 - 1979 ) . Ils ontune vision organique de la société constituée qui ont chacun une .
