Explicación

El manto es la capa intermedia de la Tierra, situada entre el núcleo y la corteza terrestre. Tiene hasta 2,900 km de profundidad y equivale casi al 70% de la masa terrestre.

Esta capa constituye el fondo del océano y funciona como fuente hidrotérmica, de modo que evita que los océanos se congelen.

El núcleo es la capa más profunda de la Tierra y es la capa que provoca el magnetismo del planeta. Su temperatura va de los 3,000° - 5,000° C y equivale al 30% de la masa terrestre. Al igual que las otras capas, el núcleo se divide en interno y externo.

El manto inferior, también conocido como mesosfera, se encuentra en estado sólido y alcanza una temperatura de hasta 3,000° C.

La corteza continental es aquella que forma los continentes del planeta. Los minerales que más abundan son el aluminio, el silicio y el magnesio.

consiste en un caparazón frío y rígido y es la primera capa de la tierra. Tiene una profundidad de 35 a 40 km y aquí habitan todos los seres vivos del planeta.
