Explicación

Proteger los ojos de una variedad de peligros presentes en un incendio forestal.

Proteger la cabeza de impactos por caída de ramas, rocas u otros objetos que puedan desprenderse durante el incendio o en el terreno accidentado. También ofrece cierta protección contra el calor radiante.

Elemento de protección personal (EPP) vital para la seguridad de los combatientes. Su función principal es proteger al usuario de las llamas, el calor intenso, las quemaduras y otros peligros asociados al fuego.

Proteger los pies y los tobillos de quemaduras por contacto con el suelo caliente, brasas o vegetación en llamas, ofrecer soporte para el tobillo, protección contra torceduras, cortes y pinchazos, y tracción en terrenos difíciles.

Se utiliza para abrir senderos o líneas a través de la vegetación densa, permitiendo el acceso seguro y rápido de los brigadistas, vehículos y equipos.
