Jamie Our climate is basically the Earth's long-term weather patterns, right? Alex Exactly! It usually takes hundreds or thousands of years for climate to change. Jamie But now it's changing much faster. Why is that? Alex The biggest cause is humans. Our activities release greenhouse gases. Jamie Like when we use oil and gasoline or cut down forests? Alex Yes! Those gases trap heat, making our planet warmer. Jamie So, what problems does this extra heat cause? Alex It leads to melting ice, rising oceans, and extreme weather. Jamie But we can help! Simple actions can make a difference, right?
