Explanation

As magma leaves the asthenosphere and flows into the crust. This is already a form of "eruption", called INTRUSION.

The transitional zone within the crust is called a magma chamber. Magma chamber is usually refers to the heart of a volcano.

When there is more magma stored within the magma chamber, the pressure within the chamber increases.

Abnormally strong plate movement will also destabilise the pressure within the magma chamber. Thus, pressure has to be released.

The eruption of magma from a vent onto the Earth's surface is known as a vent eruption. It is a type of extrusion that usually happens suddenly and violently.

Continuous plate movement keeps adding pressure to the magma chamber. Thus, vent eruptions happen from time to time, allowing the accumulation of volcanic rocks around the crater.

Volcanic eruptions might take place with this cone shape mountainous landform, called a volcano.
