In the region it is mainly the Hindus who dominate while the northern region is greatly influenced by the religion . But instead of possessing such diverse religion and culture people have blended themselves beautifully .
Last but not least , Nepal is a state . Prior to the movement for in early 2006 and the sacking of King Gyanendra in 2008 , the country was officially an state . Hinduism is the majority religion in the state and profoundly influences its structure , while ( Tibetan Buddhism ) is practiced by some ethnic groups ( for example Newar ) in forms which are strongly influenced by Hinduism .
