1 The SI Model 2 Skill Integration 3 Peer Connections 4 Content Mastery

Explanation

During SI sessions, students should practice effective learning strategies, such as note-taking, test-taking, and studying skills; memorization; and organization strategies.

Peer connections are the student to student interactions during SI sessions. It is expected that every SI session includes opportunities for students to interact (i.e., groupwork).

Content mastery is helping students learn the class material to be successful on assignments and examinations. By planning active learning, group work based SI sessions with strong facilitation, peer connections, and skill integration, you are helping students learn the material.
