Measure the height of each cake after baking. Sometimes the cake rises more, sometimes it doesn’t rise as much. Oven temperature, baking time, pan size, ingredients (except baking powder) If I add more baking powder, then the cake will rise higher. Bake cakes using 1, 2, 3, and 4 teaspoons of baking powder.
