Explanation

Mexican cuisine is a vast and ancient culinary tradition rich in corn, beans, and chili peppers, with regional diversity ranging from the northern carne asada to southern moles and coastal ceviches. Staple dishes include tacos, enchiladas, tamales, and pozole, which is one of the oldest dishes, along with drinks like agua fresca and margaritas.

Brazilian food is diverse, with regional influences from Indigenous, African, and European (especially Portuguese and Italian) cultures, and its national dish is the hearty feijoada, a stew of black beans and pork.

Colombian gastronomy is diverse and influenced by indigenous, Spanish and African cultures, presenting dishes such asBandeja Paisa (a generous dish with beans, rice, meat, arepa and more), Arepa (a versatile corn tortilla), Ajiaco (a potato and herb soup) and Empanadas.

Chile’s most iconic dish is based on a variant of corn called choclo, which is slightly sweet. While there are many different versions of this dish, the most typical consists of a purée of corn mixed with basil and coriander, ground beef, onions, a piece of chicken, hard-boiled eggs cut in quarters, and a few black olives.

Argentinian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors, especially its emphasis on beef, and offers a variety of traditional dishes that reflect the country's diverse cultural influences.

Venezuelan cuisine is a vibrant blend of indigenous, African, and European influences, featuring dishes like arepas, pabellón criollo, and tequeños that showcase its rich cultural heritage.

Traditional and still popular, Paraguayan food is based on a few staple ingredients tied to its agricultural heritage. Kesu, or queso Paraguayo, (Paraguayan cheese) has a unique tangy flavor that cannot be replicated. It is the heart of many dishes.

Most people visit different countries to experience new cultures, visit iconic landmarks, and explore completely different gastronomy. So when you visit magnificent Peru, be sure to take a break from sightseeing and try out the local dishes – they are guaranteed to give your taste buds an incredible experience and add a whole new dimension to your stay.
