(from “Civilizations and Cultural Traditions” up to “Chinese Cultural Traditions”) and take handwritten reading notes, focusing on the following topics. You may print out this notes guideLinks to an external site. or write in a notebook in a format that works for you, as long as these things are covered.

What are the central beliefs/concepts/texts in Hinduism?
What are the origins of Buddhism?
What are the central beliefs/concepts in Buddhism?
How does Buddhism draw on/challenge Hindu ideas?
What are the different types of Buddhism and what areas are they associated with?
How did religion change in India after 1200?
