Badger's Warm Shelter

Badger's Warm ShelterOnline version Badger shelters Rat and Mole during a snowy night. by Lexa Sphinx Badger Ratty, my dear little man! Come inside quickly. This is no night to be outside. Rat Oh, Badger, thank you—it's freezing out there, and Mole is with me. Badger I've got you both dry clothes and warm slippers, and I’ll bathe Mole’s leg and cover the cut. Rat That’s incredibly kind; Mole’s wound will feel better soon. Badger Two little hedgehogs wandered into the snow; I welcomed them and gave them food. Rat It’s wonderful to see you helping everyone in need. Badger When they’re warm, I’ll fetch them to the table for a delicious supper. Rat After supper, you’ll show them to a room with two white beds, I hope. Badger Yes, two beds, and soon they’ll be fast asleep. Rat What a night—Badger, you’re a true shelter in the storm.
