Explanation

Tropical zones are regions near the equator that receive direct sunlight all year, making them hot and humid. They usually have lush rainforests, heavy rainfall, and a wide variety of plants and animals.

Polar zones are the coldest regions on Earth, located near the North and South Poles with very little direct sunlight. They are covered with ice and snow most of the year and have very limited plant and animal life.

Temperate zones have moderate weather with four distinct seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

The equator is an imaginary line around the middle of the Earth.
