Penjelasan

Karena dekomposisi memang inti dari berpikir komputasional, yaitu memecah masalah besar atau kompleks menjadi bagian-bagian yang lebih kecil sehingga lebih mudah dipahami dan diselesaikan

Itu adalah abstraksi atau pattern recognition, bukan dekomposisi. Jadi meskipun masih bagian dari berpikir komputasional, ini bukan definisi dekomposisi.

Efisiensi bisa jadi hasil akhir dari dekomposisi, tapi bukan maknanya. Dekomposisi fokus pada pemecahan masalah, bukan langsung ke optimasi.

Menyederhanakan kode bisa jadi efek dari dekomposisi, tetapi dekomposisi bukan tentang kode langsung, melainkan tentang cara memecah masalah sebelum membuat program.
