About this activity

El esqueleto axial es la parte central del sistema esquelético humano y tiene como función principal proteger los órganos vitales. Está conformado por 80 huesos que incluyen el cráneo, la columna vertebral, las costillas y el esternón.
El esqueleto apendicular está conformado por 126 huesos y su función principal es permitir el soporte y el movimiento del cuerpo. Además, participa en el almacenamiento de minerales y en la producción de células sanguíneas, entre otras funciones.
