EMT_B Absolutely. First, we do a scene size-up and ensure safety, then we identify any hazards. EMT_A Right, then we approach the patient and perform the primary survey: Airway, Breathing, Circulation. EMT_B If the airway is compromised, we open it using a jaw-thrust or manual maneuvers and check for breathing. EMT_A Next, assess circulation and control any major bleeding while monitoring mental status and responsiveness. EMT_B If unresponsive, we initiate CPR with chest compressions and rescue breaths as indicated. EMT_A Then we perform a rapid secondary survey to identify hidden injuries and collect vital signs. EMT_B We document everything in the PCR and communicate with online or offline medical direction as needed. EMT_A If there are multiple patients, we start START triage and assign priorities to allocate resources efficiently. EMT_B Great plan.
