Explicación

filtra la sangre para formar el ultrafiltrado glomerular (líquido sin proteínas ni células).

Recoge el filtrado glomerular y lo dirige hacia el túbulo renal.

reabsorbe la mayor parte del agua, sodio, glucosa y aminoácidos del filtrado.

regula la cantidad final de agua y solutos excretados, controlado principalmente por la hormona antidiurética (ADH) y la aldosterona.

ajusta el equilibrio de iones (especialmente sodio, potasio y calcio) bajo control hormonal.

concentra la orina mediante la reabsorción de agua en su rama descendente y de sodio y cloro en su rama ascendente.

Regula la presión arterial y la filtración glomerular al liberar renina en respuesta a baja presión o bajo sodio, activando el sistema renina-angiotensina-aldosterona.
