Explanation

They use the movement of cilia and muscle contractions to move the egg.

Human females are born with all their eggs already made. Eggs are female gametes and are stored in the ovaries.

During childbirth, the muscular walls of the uterus contract to push the baby out.

It produces mucus that changes in consistency to either facilitate sperm passage during ovulation or block it, and it forms a protective mucus plug during pregnancy.

It holds the testes away from the male’s body because sperm production requires a temperature lower than the internal temperature of the body.

Sperm travels to the urethra from the sperm tubes. One drop has millions of sperm.

It serves as the conduit for urine to exit the body through the urethra, which also carries semen during ejaculation. The penis is also essential for sexual function, as it can become erect to enable penetrative sexual intercourse, and its sensitive nerve endings allow for sexual pleasure.

Sperm are the male gametes.
