Largest area (west of Genova), focus is varietal wines. Pigato, Vermentino, Moscato, (all 95%), Rossese and Granaccia. Has multiple subzones

Ligurian DOC, White only, dry or passito (Bosco for structure, Albarola for acidity, Vermentino for perfume). Passito style call Sciacchetrà (shock-ee-tra)

DOC shared with Toscana. Vermintino (90%, only superior allowed), Albarola (85%), Rosso (Sangiovese 85%), Bianco (Vermentino/Trebbiano Toscano)

Bianco (Albarola/Bianchetta, Vermentino), Rosso (Ciliegiolo, Dolcetto, Sangiovese). Coronata subzone in purple... only Bianco.
