Explanation

Miofibrili su duge, tankaste strukture unutar mišićnih ćelija (miocita) koje su odgovorne za samo kontrakciju mišića. One su osnovni funkcionalni elementi mišićnog vlakna koji omogućavaju da se mišić skuplja i opušta.

Mišićno vlakno je ćelija mišića, i zapravo jedna od najdužih ćelija u tijelu. Skup ovih vlakana čini mišić. Svako vlakno može da se skuplja i širi, što stvara pokret.

To je mjesto gde nervna ćelija prenosi signal na drugu ćeliju – najčešće na mišićnu ćeliju ili drugi neuron. Kod mišića, to je specifično neuromišićni spoj.

Neuron je osnovna ćelija nervnog sistema, zadužena za prenos informacija u telu. Može da šalje i prima električne i hemijske signale.
