Provincia reconocida por su riqueza cultural indígena y mestiza, especialmente del pueblo kichwa otavalo. Se caracteriza por sus tradiciones ancestrales, su música, artesanías y una fuerte identidad comunitaria que valora el trabajo colectivo y el respeto a la naturaleza.
