Explanation

The Jacoby sisters (Marie and Catherine) was the owner of the boarding house at 38 Rue Philippe de Champagne, where Rizal stayed in Brussels to save money and focus on his writing.

Jose Albert was Rizal's initial companion before being replaced by Jose Alejandrino.

Sobre la Nueva Ortografia de la Lengua Tagala was the article Rizal wrote in Brussels to propose a new, more logical way of spelling Tagalog words.

Lower cost of printing for his novel was the primary reason why Rizal moved to Ghent, as it offered significantly cheaper printing services, which was crucial for the publication of his novel, El Filibusterismo.

Petite Suzanne Jacoby was the niece which Rizal had a brief but memorable romance during his stay in Brussels.

F. Meyer-Van Loo Press was the name of the printing shop located at No. 66 Vlaanderen Street, which has agreed to published Rizal's second novel on an installment basis.

Valentin Ventura was deemed as the savior who sent the necessary funds to Rizal in Ghent just as Rizal was about to burn the manuscript due to lack of money.

September 18, 1891 was official date that marks the completion and released of Rizal's second novel, El Filibusterismo.
