Explicación

Entre las principales civilizaciones prehispánicas en los Andes Centrales se encuentran los carales, los paracas, los nazcas, los moches, los tiahuanacotas, Chimú, la Confederación Muisca, cultura mollo, Imperio incaico entre otros. En el último tercio del siglo XV, el Imperio incaico, o en quechua conocido como Tawantinsuyu, se constituyó en el Estado indígena sudamericano más importante, extendiéndose por un territorio de unos dos millones de kilómetros cuadrados, ocupado por centenares de pueblos. Creó un nuevo orden de gobierno basado en una ideología solar, con una eficiencia económica, administrativa y militar inigualable en América prehispánica.
