Explicación

Es una partícula subatómica estable con carga eléctrica negativa que orbita alrededor del núcleo atómico. Se considera una partícula elemental porque no tiene subestructura ni divisiones.

Es una partícula subatómica con carga eléctrica positiva situada en el núcleo de todos los átomos. Junto con los neutrones, compone la mayor parte de la masa atómica.

Es la partícula subatómica sin carga eléctrica (neutra) que se encuentra en el núcleo de casi todos los átomos, junto con los protones. Tienen una masa ligeramente superior a la del protón y son fundamentales para la estabilidad del núcleo y la formación de isótopos.

Se denomina así a la parte externa de un átomo que rodea al núcleo y donde orbitan los electrones
