Explanation

المحيط الهادئ هو أكبر وأعمق مسطح مائي على وجه كوكب الأرض ويفصل بين آسيا وأستراليا غرباً والأمريكتين شرقاً.

يُعد المحيط الأطلسي ثاني أكبر مسطح مائي على وجه الأرض S ويتخذ شكل حرف المميز، فاصلاً قارتي أوروبا وإفريقيا عن قارتي أمريكا الشمالية والجنوبية.

المحيط المتجمد الشمالي أصغر وأقل المحيطات عمقاً في العالم ويلعب دوراً حيوياً في تنظيم المناخ العالمي، إلا أنه يواجه تهديدات كبرى نتيجة الاحتباس الحراري.

يُعد المحيط الهندي ثالث أكبر مسطح مائي على كوكب الأرض، سُمي تيمناً بـ "شبه القارة الهندية" التي تحده من الشمال، ويتميز بتنوعه البيولوجي وموقعه الاستراتيجي في قلب طرق التجارة العالمية.
