Turbiana/Trebbiano di Luganao
Western Veneto, along lake garda.
Styles: Bianco (Superiore, Riserva, Passito, Spumante)
White grapes: Must be 70% Cortese, Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, and/or Tai. No single one can be more than 45%. A maximum of 30% Malvasia, Manzoni Bianco, Pinot Bianco, Chard, and/or Riesling is also allowed
Western Veneto, along lake garda.
Styles: Rosato (Classico, Spumante), Rosso (Classico, Novello w/ Carbonic (Classico))
Red grapes: Corvina Veronese - plus: Rondinella, Corvinone, Molinara + other authorized.

The classico sub-zone lies in the hills of Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone and is the historic heartland of Soave production.
White grapes: min 80% Garganega - plus: Trebbiano di Soave, Chardonnay,
Pinot Bianco, Durella (Spumante only)
The classico zone produces two styles:
1) Dry Gambellara Classico wines
2) Gambellara Classico Vin Santo
Central Veneto. Styles: Bianco Spumante (Riserva)
White grapes: Mainly 100% Durella, can be up to 15% Pinot Nero, Garganega, Pinot Bianco and/or Chardonnay
Spumante can be tank or metodo classico.
Lessini Durello Spumante Riserva must be metodo classico and aged for at least 36 months on the lees
Central Veneto appellation produces a wide range of single-varietal wines from native and international grapes, and blends - particularly high-quality Bordeaux blends.
Styles: Bianco (Superiore, Spumante*, Passito*, Passito Riserva), Rosso (Superiore, Riserva)
Breganze Bianco is a Tai-based white blend.
Breganze Rosso is a Merlot-based red blend.
Can also be "Cabernet" with min 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and/or Carmenère.
White grapes: Chardonnay, Tai/Friulano, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Vespaiola
Red grapes: Mainly BDX blends, Marzemino, Merlot, Pinot Nero
Central Veneto.... Colli Berici DOC produces a wide range of varietal wines and bianco/rosso blends from international and native grapes.
Colli Berici Bianco must be 20% Sauvy B
Colli Berici Rosso must be 20% Tai Rosso (grenache!)

White grapes: 95% Moscato Giallo -
Styles: Rosso (Riserva), Vendemmia Tardiva, Passito. All can be Classico too near the town of Bagnoli di Sopra.
Only dry wines can be Riserva
Red grapes: 90% Friularo (Raboso Piave), can include up to 50% of dried grapes that have undergone appassimento
Eastern Veneto. BDX-style red wine. 40%-70% Cabernet Sauvignon, blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Carmenère.
18m with 9m in oak
Bianco (Passito*) White blend made principally from Manzoni Bianco w/ some Pinot Bianco, and Chardonnay. Rosso - A blend made from Marzemino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc Aged for min 2y, 6m in oak. Riserva min 3y, 12m in oak.
Eastern Veneto. Piave DOC produces large volumes of varietal wines, especially Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Tai (Friulano), and Verduzzo.
Piave Rosso must contain at least 50% Merlot.
Rabaso Piave is a native grape variety used to produce Raboso del Piave, which must be aged for at least two year
THE prosecco spot. Mainly sandstone, marl, and clay. Alps shield from cold air, Lagoon of Venice provides warm air. E-W orientation, perfect souther exposure. Elevation up to 500m. Steep slopes.
Mainly Glera (Styles: Bianco (Frizzante, Spumante (Superiore (Sui Lieviti*) Only spumante wines can be labeled Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
This DOCG is for wines made from Friulano – known locally as Tai, or Lison.
Wines must contain at least 85% Friulano.
