Por otra parte , los sistemas son aquellos cuyos valores de sus propiedades intensivas no se modifican a lo largo de todo el sistema , y los sistemas son aquellos cuyos valores de las propiedades intensivas varían según la porción del sistema considerado . Se denomina a cada porción de un sistema material con iguales valores de sus propiedades intensivas . Por consiguiente , todo sistema homogéneo es y todo sistema heterogéneo es . Un sistema homogéneo formado por dos o más componentes tiene el nombre de .
