Un es un texto que agrupa todos los pasos que se deben seguir para hacer una actividad . En él se explican detalladamente y en , cada una de las acciones que se deben hacer para lograr el resultado deseado .
Los tipos de instructivos más comunes son aquellos que indican cómo usar un equipo ( por ejemplo , un televisor , un reproductor de DVD , una cámara fotográfica , un teléfono inteligente , etc . ) o cómo jugar un juego de mesa ( Monopolio , Risk , Scrabble , etc ) .

En general , cualquier documento que explique cómo hacer algo , puede considerarse como un instructivo . En ellos se observan características comunes tales como :
