The ground below the city is completely artificial. It's about 70 years old and exits for one reason: oil. 3 Green city 2: That is because the bus system is one of the best in the world. It is called the BRT and it carries two million passengers a day. Tickets are cheap and journeys are fast. 4 Artificial city 1: Neft Dashlari is a man-made city in the Caspian Sea. Here, only a quarter of the 1.7 million inhabitants use a car. 11 Green city 3: And nobody in the city lives further than 400 metres from a bus stop.
