Have you ever heard about the Sahara Desert located on the African Continent? Student Yes, the Greatest Desert!! I know a little bit about it. Avatar It´s right. It is also called the Greatest Desert because it is the largest hot desert in the world! Student I didn´t know that. The Sahara Desert is located in North Africa, isn´t it? Avatar Yes, it is. And it is the hottest region in the world. The average high temperature exceeds 38-40 degrees celsius. Student Oh my God. I presume not a lot of people live in that desert with that extreme temperature. Avatar You´re right. Just a few tribes live in the Sahara like the Tuareg, the Sahrawis, the Toubou, the Nubians or the Kanuri. Student Wow, that sounds so interesting.
