Instead of answering questions in writing, allow a verbal response. Provide both oral and written directions. A copy of teacher notes is provided to the student. Student gets extra time to learn to play a piece of music instrument. Mark the correct answers rather than incorrect ones. In social studies, expect a student to be able to locate the colors of the states on a map, while other students learn to locate each state and name each capital.
