III - La laïcité pour vivre ensemble
A ) Une journée et une charte
La journée nationale de la est fixée au 9 décembre .
Les écoles publiques sont laïques  : les enseignants et les élèves doivent faire preuve de neutralité et respecter les de chacun . Les cours de religion et le port de signes religieux y sont interdits .
Cela n'empêche pas d'apprendre l'histoire des religions .
Depuis , une charte de la laïcité doit être affichée dans tous les établissements , elle rassemble les règles qui permettent d'étudier et de vivre ensemble .
B ) La laïcité , une nouvelle liberté
La laïcité reconnaît la liberté de reconnue par l'art . 10 de la DDHC .
La laïcité favorise la et le mieux « vivre ensemble » en respectant tous les Hommes quelles que soient leurs croyances . Elle permet de développer l'esprit critique , on est libre ou pas de croire .
Depuis , la loi de séparation des et de l'État a fait de la république , un état laïc  : il n'y a pas de religion officielle en France , elles sont toutes acceptées ( dans le respect des lois [ secte , extrémisme . . . ]
